Heavy Duty Descaler

Removes heavy limescale build-up.

An economy liquid descaler that removes limescale in commercial dish machines, but safe enough for use on all metal surfaces where limescale removal is a problem.

DANGER! CORROSIVE!
May cause burns. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Do not ingest liquid or inhale vapors. Wear safety glasses, gloves, and protective clothing when using this product.

CAUTION: Do not mix with bleach!

DILUTIONS:

  • 1/2 oz. per gallon of water for light descaling.
  • 3 to 6 oz. per gallon of water for general
    cleaning.
  • Dilution may vary depending on conditions.

Directions: Use 0.5-1.0 ozs. per gallon water, for normal usage. If heavier deliming is needed, use more product per gallon.

Delime Procedure for Dishmachine: 

  1. Drain the dish machine.
  2. Remove curtains & rinse away any loose soil.
  3. Remove scrap trays & rinse away any loose soil.
  4. Remove upper & lower wash arms & rinse away any loose soil.
  5. Thoroughly rinse the interior of the dish machine.
  6. Check pump intake screen and clean if needed.
  7. Reinstall the scrap trays and wash them.
  8. Close the drain.
  9. Using a spray bottle filled with Delimer, spray the final rinse section and other areas not normally affected by the wash action.
  10. Pour a dilution ratio of 4 oz. of Delimer to 1 gallon of water into the dish machine.
  11. Fill the dish machine with water.
    Install the two end curtains.
  12. Start the dish machine and let it run in the manual position for a minimum of 15 minutes or a maximum of 30 minutes.
  13. Turn off dish machine and open the drain.
  14. Thoroughly rinse the inside of the dish machine.
  15. Refill the dish machine and let it run for 5 minutes.
  16. Drain the dish machine.
  17. Dishmachine is now ready for use.
